SAFETY INCENTIVE

As a member of Local#16 you are eligible for the Safety Incentive program here are the requirements:

• OSHA 10 Hour (Every Three Years) - You are required to take the OSHA 10 Hour class which is offered year round here at New Mexico Laborers Training and Apprenticeship Fund.
  
• Hazard Communication (Annually) - You are required to take the Hazard Communication class every year to qualify for the incentive.
  
• Journey Person Upgrade (Annually) This is an 8hr class, that is required ever year. The class subject changes from year to year.
  
• ADDITIONAL CLASSES - Any additional classes you take here with the training fund may also be applied for your safety incentive. Example: CPR/First Aid, Cutting and Burning, Forklift, etc.
  

ALL CLASSES MUST BE TAKEN BY AUGUST 31ST TO GET CREDIT FOR THIS CURRENT YEAR. APPLICATIONS CAN BE PICKED UP AT THE LOCAL OFFICE OR ON THE SOUTHWEST MULTI-CRAFT WEBSITE (SSATPA.COM) BEGINING SEPTEMBER 1st AND MUST BE COMPLETED EITHER ON THE SSATPA.COM WEBSITE OR MAILED (IN THEIR OFFICE)  WITH COPIES OF CARDS AND/OR TRANSCRIPTS ATTACHED BY OCTOBER 15th.
